Question 3: Delta vs Everest

In both of these videos, they are reaching out to a black audience. The difference is the way they are reaching out to their audience. In the Ghetto Delta Airlines video, the guy talking is a white male who is speaking in a stereotypical “ghetto” dialect to reach his audience. Saying “We’d be flyin’ all over this bitch”. Another difference is beside the main guy being a white male, when they show the beach, they show white women in bikinis. In the Everest College advertisement, the person talking is a black male. However, he is not displaying blackness through the way he is talking but how he is talking and the location that they are filming the advertisement. They are shooting this ad in a parking lot at night, which stereotypically is known for black men to be around. The black male is also yelling at the audience, which is another stereotype.
